This painting was influenced by the goddess Lilith. She has been vilified over the centuries; however, she reminds us to celebrate our free will and empowers women to take control of their own life. Lilith embodies the emotional and spiritual aspects of our unconscious or unrealized desires, sensuality, and sexuality. She refused to be dominated or defined by anyone outside of her.
